What better way to preview homes currently on the market then by way of a free limousine guided property tour? "There is no better way" says Sharon Grace and Carina Furr of The Litchfield Company of Murrells Inlet. An idea born of a brainstorming effort by Grace to integrate the areas natural resources, amenities, as well as the real estate market and the inherent lifestyle unique to the Myrtle Beach area. "It is a well thought out concept to adapt our core business to a larger picture." says Grace. "We have a theme each time such as active adult communities for those who are 55 and older, first time home buyers, homes under $200,000, custom homes from $400,000, beach front properties, and the like".

Each week clients are given a gift bag filled with water, snacks, and an assortment of coupons for area attractions and then its off to the tour. "We find the locals who participate, share with the out of town visitors their personal stories and affection for what our area has to offer, and the visitors allow the locals to "see" with new eyes some of the resources they tend to take for granted. It has been a wonderful experience to date". says Grace." We try to make it laid back and non threatening. It's like we have a party every week and welcome anyone who would like to join us".

Large brightly colored yard signs and balloons greet the tour at each stop. Complimentary refreshments can be found at the first and last home visited. "We just want this to be a fun yet informative event. After all these folks are taking time out of their schedule to spend it with us, so we want to insure it is not a disappointment to them".

They also take their clients to visit Huntington State Park, The Market Commons, Brookgreen Gardens, The Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet, and point out local restaurants, shopping, as well as medical facilities. "It is a comprehensive exchange of information. By the time our tour is over the clients are definitely familiar with the area. It has been a fantastic way to showcase our premier communities." says Grace.
